Biography
Claude M. Jones was born 31 January 1873 in Jackson County, Missouri, to W_Kenneth_Jones and Marinda_Wrightsman_Jones. She married Joseph Bernard Lynch (1871-1959) and had two children: Lorene Lynch (1896-1901), who died at age 5, and Walter B Lynch (1903-1967). Claude died 19 February 1911 of influenza (La Grippe) in Blue Township, Jackson County, at age 38. She is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, not at Salem Cemetery with the rest of the Jones family. Her death certificate informant was listed as "Mr. Harfer."
