Biography
Marie Heins was born on 9 February 1839 in Hamburg-Orndorf, Germany. She married Hinrich Eggers and had at least one son, John Henry Eggers. After Hinrich's death in 1879, Marie survived nearly three decades, dying on 26 February 1908 in Nienstedten (a suburb of Hamburg, now part of the Altona district).
